The orange windsock at the helicopter area should be highly visible from a distance.
The helicopter landing site is situated adjacent to the Kriek Helicopters hanger in the open grass area. If all the helipads are taken, please land in a safe unmarked open area in or near the helicopter landing area.
Do not land in the vehicle parking area which is East of the helicopter area.
We ask that you maintain a safe distance when landing next to other helicopters and please stay well clear of the bomas and auction facility.
The helicopter landing area is within easy walking distance from the auction venue +/- 100 -150 metres.

The surface of the landing area may be rough or uneven in certain areas but it's solid.
There are three lightning conductors to the North of the landing site of +/- 60ft agl.
Powerline +/- 500m North - North East of the landing site.
